Do you ever wish you could wake up every morning to the sound of the bluebirds? But you end up waking up to that obnoxious alarm?! How can we make our mornings a little more, well, peaceful?
I really do love my time in the morning because it's a very special time for me. When I can set aside time first thing in the day, it reminds me to make myself a priority too! It's kind of like when you're on an airplane. You know? They always say the whole, "Place your oxygen mask on first before helping those around you." Because if you can't breathe, we're all going down!! So I wanted to share how I like to start and end my day in this mini "Get Ready with Me" series! That way we can make each day the best that we can! Here's how we start!!!
Okay let's be honest-you know how they say to read your Bible everyday? Sometimes we can't get to it! Well lately, what I've been doing is pulling up what chapter I want to read the night before! I pull it up so all I do is lock my screen-and when I wake up, it's the first thing I see when my screen unlocks! Now the first thing that you see can be something positive and empowering!!
2)Cleanse my Skin
I allllways make sure my skin is fresh before I do anything :). I'm actually pretty proud of this! But...Sometimes, you can forget to take your makeup off the night before. I forget too!! So what do you do?
Tip:I always use a makeup wipe to take off any makeup in the morning.Then, I'll also use a cleanser! The cleanser will not only remove any extra makeup, but will clean deeeep into the skin to prevent any skin impurities from coming to the surface. (Stay tuned for next week where I go more in depth of my favorite products!)
3)Quickly touch up hair
I love to keep hairstyles easy! Sometimes I may accidentally sleep in, so it's important to keep hairstyles quick!! Lately, I've been braiding a lot. It's simple and perfect for fall!!
Tip: Did you know you can use a straightener to create waves? Simply twist the straightener, and lightly drag it away from the face. When you release, you'll be left with a nice wave!

Try it in the morning! That way it's done! I try to workout for at least 20 minutes-and by the time I do that I can usually make it longer!
It just starts the day off so nicely!! It gets rid of aggression, gives me a healthy start, and I even have more energy the whole day!!
